Mangaluru: White Doves’ mobile act on Dec 8 – Now at St Agnes Special School Grounds

Mangaluru, Dec 5: The 25th mobile act on the life of St Mark ‘Naanu Ninnavane’, written by Bannu Fernandes which was supposed to take place at Nehru Maidan on December 8, will now be presented at St Agnes Special School Grounds.

The show is conducted by White Doves, a well-known NGO who has spread the spirit and joy of the festive season with its popular mobile act from the last 25 years.

The mobile act on Life of St Mark by White Doves was scheduled on December 1 at Nehru Maidan was forced to be postponed due to unexpected heavy rain. The act is now scheduled on December 8 at St Agnes Special School Grounds.

The mobile act is titled '2019-year-old fact in a Mobile Act. The act was successfully presented at Karkala and Modankap on November 29 and 30 respectively.

The show will have 125 artistes performing on trailer trucks set into stages. There will be 10 stages totalling 240 feet. The artistes comprise of people of all ages and walks of life. This has been the unique and one-of-its-kind shows that Mangaluru has seen.

This is the 25th year of the performances and White Doves have performed over 300 such shows in and around Mangaluru, Kumble and Kasargod in Kerala. The shows in the past years were held at Beltangady, Bantwal, Kundapur, Moodbidiri, Shirva, Kadaba, Suratkal and Farangipete which had drawn huge crowds.

The show at St Agnes Special School Grounds on December 8, will be the last of these shows.
