Mangaluru: CREDAI plants saplings as part of Green City initiative

Mangaluru, Dec 3: As part of its Green City initiative, CREDAI Mangaluru in association with team Vriksha and Canara School Urva, planted 40 saplings in the vicinity of Canara School and its adjoining areas in the event held on November 30 in the city.

The newly elected corporator of Mannagudda Sandhya planted the first sapling and insisted that the general public of the city should come forward and plant saplings in and around their area in making the city greener. Naveen Cardoza, president, CREDAI Mangaluru, speaking on the occasion informed that CREDAI will plant trees in and around Mangaluru in CREDAI’s initiative to make the city liveable.

Naveen Cardoza, president, CREDAI Mangaluru, Fateh Muhammed, Meraj Yousuf, Guru and other members of CREDAI Mangaluru youth wing, Vivek Bhat, founder member and other members of Team Vriksha, a voluntary group who have planted more than 700 saplings across city and Members of Canara School, Urwa, were present during the event.
