Mangaluru, Dec 3: 'Evergreen Melodies', a tribute to the living legends S P Balasubrahmanyam and S Janaki, will be held on December 7 at Town Hall at 5 pm.

The event is organised by ‘Walfloora‘, an exclusive showroom of sanitary ware having rare collections in Mangaluru.

Kannada playback singers Ajay Warrier, Archana Udupa will enthrall the audience by singing songs which were originally sung by S P Balasubrahmanyam and S Janaki, and hence pay a tribute to the living legends on the occasion.

Speaking to daijiworld.com, Bhandary Builders managing director Lakshmish Bhandary said, “Since two years we are organising these events. Last year we had organised ‘Gandharva Gaana', a musical show as a tribute to legendary singer Padma Shree Dr K J Yesudas. Many attended the programme and appreciated the concept. Last year we had promised similar concerts in future for the music lovers of Mangaluru. We are just keeping up to our promise.”

“Today we rarely get to listen to old songs. It is good that by organising such events, people get a chance to listen to old songs. We will continue these types of events and will pay tribute to great legends in coming days too. I hope this year too, people will gather in large numbers to honour the living legends,” he added.

The event is powered by Supra Lights, Bhandary Builders, Ideal Ice cream, Surabhi Sounds and Lightings.

Daijiworld TV and Daijiworld.com and Red FM 93.5 are the media partners for this event.
