Moodbidri: Accident between bike - Goods truck claims a life, injures another

Moodbidri, Nov 25: In an accident which involved a two-wheeler driven by a minor and a mini goods truck at Kesargadde, Beluvai near here on Sunday November 24 afternoon, a person died while another was hospitalized with injuries.

Sahil Ahmed (14), son of Ahatsham, resident of Bypass Road in Karkala, who was riding the pillion of the motor bike, lost his life in the accident while Fadil (16), who was riding the motor bike, was hospitalized with grave injuries to his hands and legs.

Both Sahil and Fadil were students of Al Furkhan School, Puthige here. Both were residing near Bypass Road Karkala. They were moving towards Moodbidri from Karkala in the two-wheeler on Sunday afternoon when this accident happened.

Immediately after the accident, the locals transported both the injured youngsters to hospital but Sahil breathed his last before reaching the hospital. The police here have registered a case.
