Byndoor, Nov 22: Mahabala Ganiga (74) from Taggarse Bettanagadde in Byndoor consumed poison and ended his life on Wednesday November 20.

It is learnt that he was suffering from depression, high blood pressure, and diabetes. Having been frustrated with life on account of health problems, he chose to commit suicide, said his son Narayana Ganiga, in a complaint filed in Byndoor police station. A case in this respect was registered in Byndoor police station.
