Puttur, Nov 19: In a shocking incident that came to light on the morning of November 19, two people were found murdered in a heinous manner at Hosmar of Kuriya near here.
Koggu Saheb (65) and his granddaughter Sameeha Bhanu, a student of ninth standard are the victims of this gruesome act. Khadijabi B, wife of slain Koggu Saheb, is injured grievously and is said to be fighting for her life.
These are the only three people, who were living in the said house. As two have lost their lives and one is fighting for her life, the identity of the killer is not known.
When Razak, son of Koggu Saheb, who lives in a rented house in Puttur town, went home at Hosmar in the morning, this ghastly incident came to light. He informed others immediately, when he saw all three people lying in a pool of blood. When locals arrived on the spot, they saw that Koggu Saheb and his granddaughter have already succumbed to the injuries. Khadija B, who was grievously injured was admitted to a hospital.
Primary investigation to ascertain the motive behind the murder is being conducted by Sampya police station personnel. It is not known whether these murders were the result of some property dispute or is it done by thieves.
