Udupi: RTO invites applications from honest, accident less drivers for reward

Udupi, Nov 17: Applications, as per the instructions of Karnataka State Project Implementation and Karnataka State Safety Authority, are invited from drivers of Maxi Cab, Bus, Goods Transport vehicles, Taxi and Autorickshaw that fall under the limits of Udupi Regional Transport Office for 10 awards in total (two in each category of vehicles) for drives who have the record of not involved in any accidents and also honest in their approach.

Interested drivers should have the following eligibility:

*The applicant must be a resident of Udupi district
*Type of vehicle should be mentioned for which the reward is sought (only one among Maxi Cab, Bus, Goods Transport vehicle, Taxi and Autorickshaw can be mentioned)
*The person should have held the driving licence for at least 20 years and it should be valid
*The applicant should be above the age of 45 years
*The applicant should not have involved in any accidents
*The applicant should not have any case registered with any of the police station

Along with the application, the applicant should attach or provide the copy of Aaadhar/Ration Card/Voter Id, one passport size photograph, xerox copy of Driving Licence and DL Extract, suitable document to prove date of birth and certificate from the district police office.

Application along with the required proof of documents should be sent to Regional Transport Office, Saarige Soudha, Rajatadri, Manipal, Udupi - 57610 before November 25 states the publication of member secretary, district road safety committee and regional transport officer Udupi.
