Mangaluru, Nov 17: We hear about the importance of leading a healthy and active life almost all the time, to the extent that you’d expect it would have changed the lifestyle of many people who led a sedentary life. Well, the reality is far from what we perceive. While most Indians want to lead a healthy lifestyle, lack of motivation and time make it difficult for them to do so. Today you will find more people in hospitals dealing with various health problems than you might find in a fitness club. 'Fit India movement' is already announced earlier this year by our Prime minister Narendra Modi in India to encourage people to prioritise sports and fitness in their day-to-day lives.
On November 17, 2019, 'One More Rep', a gym based in Maroli, Mangaluru, near infant Jesus church, Bikarnakatte organised its second beach event for its members, on the beautiful shores of Thannirbhavi at 6 am. Their members were in involved in various exciting beach-fitness activities with the guidance of skilled trainers.
Such activities are one of a kind in Mangalore as we don’t see them often. It brings about a change in the lifestyle of a person and motivates them to get into a healthier and more active lifestyle.
Fitness is often ignored by many for various reasons, such as lack of motivation, shortage of time, lack of knowledge, and even the exuberant pricing of most fitness clubs these days. One More Rep unisex gym aims towards the people to consider strength training and fitness as a way of life. The gym provides a premium fitness facility at the lowest price of Rs 1,200 per month.
