Kalaburagi: Friends panic, not able to rescue drowning boy

Kalaburagi, Nov 16: A group of boys panicked so much that they could not save their friend who was drowning in front of their eyes.

This incident has occurred in the stone quarry near Raneshpirdargah on the outskirts of the town. Jafar (22) is the unfortunate victim of this incident. The last moments of his drowning are recorded on the mobile camera.

Jafar, a resident of Mijaguri extension of the town had gone for swimming with his friends on the evening of Friday. They swam for quite a long time and all that has been recorded in the mobile. After all finished swimming and out of the stone quarry, Jafar again jumped into the water. But he could not come out of the water as he was too tired to swim. The friends thought that he will come out of water as they were not aware that he is drowning.

Before the friends could realize, Jafar had drowned in the stone quarry. A case in this regard is registered in the Kalaburagi police station.
