IISSM to offer professional degree, diploma courses in security management

Bengaluru, Nov 16: Rajya Sabha Member and Executive Chairman of New Delhi based International Institute for Security and Safety Management (IISSM) R K Sinha announced that IISSM will be soon offering professional Diploma and Degree Programs relating to security management to meet the fast-changing scenario and challenges on the ground.

He was delivering the valedictory address of the two days international IISSM Conclave with the theme "New paradigms for loss Prevention in the Digital Era" in Bengaluru on Friday.

Irrespective of the situation in the country, he said security industry is growing at an unprecedented pace necessitating new updated professional courses to address the new challenges.

"As we keep growing, there is a huge requirement of diverse professional services. In order to enable it, we need to have more educated, skilled and professional manpower to emerging requirements,’’ Sinha said.

The present managers in the security service sector are doing a good job but the market expectations are also increasing multifold.

Sinha announced the elevation of IISSM Karnataka chapter Chairman Shashidhar as new Vice Chairman of IISSM.

He said the next IISSM conclave will be held in New Delhi and followed by Hyderabad.
