Mangalore: Unidentified Miscreants Stab Two Near AB Shetty Circle

Mangalore, Aug 19: Two men suffered serious injuries after they were stabbed by unidentified people near AB Shetty Circle in Hampankatta, near the RTO office on the night of Wednesday August 19. 

The incident occurred around 10.30 pm and the injured have been identified as Sunil from Kavoor and Vinay Kumar from Kasargod.

The reason behind the attack is not yet known but police got the situation under control before it could be termed communal. The injured have been admitted to Wenlock Hospital.

Pandeshwar police are investigating the case and have appealed to the public to not heed any rumours. A personal grudge is suspected to have led to the stabbing.

    Mangalore seems to be having an event almost everyday. One does not know when Riots & cerfew would happen. The recent finding of cattle heads at the Sharavu Ganapathi Temple is disgusting and condemned. This is sacrilege and is an event as bad as Sept Church attacks. We need to respect each others religions.
