Puttur: Pedestrian injured in accident breathes her last

Puttur, Nov 14: A pedestrian who had suffered serious injuries after a motor bike hit her on the evening of Monday, lost her battle for life on Wednesday November 13.

The victim was Sarojini (66), wife of Gangadhar from Kaikara in Volamogru village in the taluk. She was crossing the road at Darbe on Monday November 11 evening when a motor bike hit her. She sustained serious injuries and had been initially admitted into a private hospital at Puttur for treatment. Later, she was shifted to a private hospital at Mangaluru in view of her condition that had become aggravated.

But the woman failed to properly respond to treatments and breathed her last on Wednesday.
