Karkala: Hit by motorbike, pedestrian loses life at Golidindi

Karkala, Nov 13: In an incident which happened near a bridge located at Golidindi in Iruvathur village near here, a pedestrian lost his life after a motorbike knocked him down.

The man who lost his life was Dinesh Acharya (45), resident of Gundimar in Iruvathur village. He was walking by the side of the road, when a motorbike moving towards Iruvathur from the direction of Muratangadi hit him, it is gathered.

Acharya, who sustained grievous injuries, was being taken to the government hospital when he breathed his last, sources said.

A case of accidental death was registered in this connection in a rural police station here.
