Karkala: Bike rider dies after wheels of motorbike skid

Karkala, Nov 12: After the wheels of the motorbike he was driving skidded when moving from near Punaru Shastavu temple on Belman main road near Ajekar on Monday, November 11, a bike rider identified as Nitesh Moolya (27) lost his life.

Nitesh was riding towards Belman from the direction of Sooda when he suddenly applied the brake. As a result, the wheels of his bike lost the grip, they skidded, and Moolya fell to the road along with the motorbike after losing control. He was being taken to a hospital at Udupi when his end came.

The unfortunate victim of this accident was the son of Narayana Moolya and Gulabi couple from Belman Gudde, Sooda. He was an employee of a press at Manipal. He was an active member of Bright Group Friends, Sooda. He is survived by parents, a brother, and a sister.

A case in this respect has been registered in Karkala rural police station.
