Karwar, Nov 11: Yellapur MLA Shivaram Hebbar, who has been disqualified by the assembly speaker after he resigned from the assembly along with 16 others, hit back at the former chief minister. He questioned Siddaramaiah whether he had used knife or dagger when he back-stabbed JD(S) leaders when leaving that party after being made the deputy chief minister.
Speaking to media persons on Sunday November 10, he reminded Siddaramaiah that the JD(S) had made him the deputy chief minister and still he had deserted that party. "I have high respect for Siddaramaiah as an individual. But the style in which he spoke and the language used were not right. This behaviour does not behove of a leader of his stature. I had brought money for the development of my constituency from the government, and Siddaramaiah had not paid the money from his personal funds. I will tell everything about the release of funds and other things after November 13," he stated.
