Kasargod: Operation against anti-social elements - Manjeshwar police arrest ten persons

Kasargod, Nov 9: In view of increasing number of anti-social activities within the limits of Manjeshwar police station, the police undertook an elaborate operation to subdue people with criminal antecedents.

The operation was led by deputy superintendent of police P P Sadanandan. 18 teams with ten personnel including officers were deputed for the operation and 18 vehicles were provided to them.

The police had prepared a list of 130 households which have members involved with goondaism, murder, gang war, narcotics, drugs etc. In the early hours on Friday, 120 houses were raided simultaneously and ten persons were arrested. The operation was conducted from 6 am to 8 am.

The police however were reluctant to provide more details about the raid.
