Udupi: Catholic Sabha urges police to probe cause behind Fr Mahesh D’ Souza’s death

Udupi, Nov 8: Catholic Sabha Udupi deanery has urged police department to find the real reason for the untimely death of the assistant priest of Shirva church and principal of Don Bosco English medium school, late Fr Mahesh D’ Souza and pull the curtain among devotees over his death.

“Catholic Sabha will provide all the cooperation and support when legal investigations regarding his death will be in progress,” stated Catholic Sabha.

Police department has urged Cyber police to take legal action against those who send changed video shots of unfounded reports on social media and create confusion. Catholic Sabha has requested those who have proof or witness concerning the death to submit them to investigating officials of the case.

“Catholic Sabha condemns misuse of confusions over unnatural death of late Fr Mahesh D’ Souza and making unfounded, insulting statements against the church and religious leaders of the church,” stated Catholic Sabha in the news release.

    Its really a Shame to all Catholics in Udupi that we have "Catholic Sabha" You guys woke up after 1 month of this incident. Its really Sad. If you had come forward soon after the incident than lot of confusion and rumors could be avoided.

    Whether Catholic sabha udupi filed proper complaint before Police department or anyotherproper Govt authorities. Or it like a political statement
