Mangaluru, Nov 8: Heavy rain coupled with thunder and lightning which was experienced in Mulky town panchayat limits in the taluk on Wednesday, November 6 night, inflicted huge losses.

After lightning struck the house of Satyabrahma at Karnad, Mulky, switchboard and several other electronic goods were damaged. The loss, in this case, has been estimated at one lac rupees.

Mulky village accountant, Pradeep Shenoy, and revenue inspector, Dileep Rodkar, visited the spot and scrutinized the loss.
