Panaji, Nov 5: Rupesh Kumar Thakur, who had served as secretary to former governor Mridula Sinha, will continue as secretary to newly appointed governor, Satya Pal Malik.

The 2006 batch IAS officer Thakur, as per the order of the personnel department, has been relieved of the charge of other departments from Monday.

The department also reshuffled works of some IAS officers. Sanjay Gihar has been appointed secretary water resources, provedoria, official language, public grievances, member secretary and commission for protection of child rights, rural development and panchayat. Isha Khosla has been appointed secretary general administration, civil supplies, Goa gazetteer, museums, printing and stationary and protocol.

Sanjay Kumar has been appointed secretary revenue, social welfare, NRI affairs, factories and boilers and information technology. Kuldeep Singh Gangar has been appointed secretary agriculture, housing, animal husbandry and veterinary services and transport.
