Bengaluru, Nov 3: The state BJP has quickly come in support of CM B S Yediyurappa, whose video, in which it is alleged the poaching of Congress and JD (S) MLAs was done by Amit Shah in order the bring the coalition government down in Karnataka has got leaked and Congress has approached the governor in this matter demanding the removal of BJP government from ruling the state.

Ridiculing Congress for its approach to the governor on the issue, MP and state BJP president Nalin Kumar Kateel said, "I fail to understand the basis on which the Congress is seeking the dismissal of the BJP government. It is really funny. It is clear from their actions that they are blowing the issue out of proportion from the video and audio clip, which they have stolen from someone."

On Saturday, November 2, the Congress party approached the governor's office and said that it is clear from the video that the former coalition government of the state was brought down with the guidance and involvement of BJP national president Amit Shah."

Surprisingly, CM Yediyurappa has justified his speech in the video, in addition to accepting that it is indeed his voice. However, on the other front Kateel is saying that the this is a ploy by the Congress to mislead the Supreme Court, which is about to give its verdict on the disqualified MLAs of Congress and JD (S) soon.

Kateel says that CM Yediyurappa, in the video, has just reiterated that the BJP central leadership was aware of the presence of 17 rebel MLAs in Mumbai before the fall of the coalition government. "BJP came into power because of the resignation of 17 MLAs. There is no need to analyse the situation that led to their resignations. There is no need to pass any comments on this at the moment because the matter is sub judice and the BJP high command will decide once the supreme court comes out with a decision on the matter," said Kateel.

Govind Karajol, DCM has summarily dismissed the video and called that it is just fake and there is no truth in it.
