Bank of Baroda Mangaluru zone observes Vigilance Awareness Week 2019

Mangaluru, Nov 2: Bank of Baroda, Mangaluru zone observed Vigilance Awareness week from October 28 to November 2 across its five regions covering 440 branches. The theme for the Vigilance Week this year was 'Integrity — A way of life', as chosen by Central Vigilance Commission (CVC).

A pledge taking ceremony in this regard was conducted at branches and administrative offices of the bank in Mangaluru zone where over 20,000 customers and over 3,000 employees of the bank in the zone took the 'integrity pledge'. Along with this various other outreach activities like grama sabhas, essay writing and elocution on the CVC theme were organized by the bank in Mangaluru zone.



A walkathon was organized by Bank of Baroda, Mangaluru zone to mark the vigilance week on November 2 starting from its zonal office at Vijaya Towers, Jyothi Circle to A B Shetty Circle. The event was inaugurated by M J Nagaraja, general manager and zonal head, Bank of Baroda Mangaluru zone in the presence of Shivaram B, deputy general manager 'regional head, Mangaluru region.

The Walkathon was attended by over 200 staff members of Bank of Baroda, Mangaluru zone.
