Mangaluru, Oct 30: MCC Bank held an awareness programme on 'Cyber Security', for all the staff of MCC Bank on October 29 at the administrative office of the bank. 

The programme began with a prayer by director, Irene Rebello. Sunil Menezes, general manager of the bank welcomed the gathering.

Dr Ananth Prabhu G, cybersecurity trainer and lecturer at Sahyadri Engineering College, conducted a very engaging session on Cyber Safety in Banking. He delivered inputs to find out how to secure mail Id, ATM card, mobile phone and life on social media and called upon to avoid reacting and replying to fake, malicious messages.

Anil Lobo, chairman, Jerald Jude D’Silva, vice-chairman, directors Marcel M D’Souza, Anil Patrao, Andrew D’Souza, David D’Souza, Irene Rebello, Dr Freeda D’Souza, professional directors, Micheal D’Souza and C G Pinto, were present.

All the staff attended the awareness programme.

Ovin Rebello, manager of the Udupi branch, compered the programme and Raj Menezes, deputy general manager of the bank proposed the vote of thanks.
