Dharwad, Oct 28: Reacting to chief minister, Yediyurappa's threat posed to him to move breach of privilege motion against him for addressing the speaker in the singular, former chief minister, Siddaramaiah, expressed anguish. He challenged the BJP leaders to move the privilege motion if they want to do so.
Speaking to media persons here, he expressed resentment at the warning issued by Yediyurappa.
"Assembly speaker Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri, did not allow me to speak more. Therefore I spoke as the circumstances warranted. The BJP is speaking of moving breach of privilege motion in an incident where such a breach has never happened. I need not learn from Yediyurappa on the issue. Let BJP leaders move the motion. I will think about it then," he reacted.
He also got angry at the demand of Yediyurappa to apologize to the speaker. "Should I tender an apology because Yediyurappa has demanded it? I do not need to learn lessons in politics from him. As I have not done anything wrong, there is no question of apologizing. I cannot go on responding to everything he says. I have other things to do," he asserted.
