Udupi: Manipal Arogya Card enrolment ends on Oct 31

Udupi, Oct 26: Dr Avinash Shetty, medical superintendent of Kasturba Hospital, Manipal announced that the last date for enrolment of Manipal Arogya Card (MAC) scheme is October 31.

Manipal Arogya Card (MAC) was incepted with an aim to make quality healthcare treatment affordable to the public. It offers benefits on a complete range of healthcare services. By paying a small amount, anybody can become a member and avail the benefits. The card holder can avail benefits at Manipal Group hospitals in coastal Karnataka and Goa.

Dr Avinash Shetty said, “This 19th year of MAC, we aim to issue the card for two years also with inclusion of Manipal Hospitals Goa in the scheme. Card memberships include, individual membership for one person at Rs 250, family membership for individual, spouse, any number of unmarried kids below 25 years at Rs 500 and family plus membership for individual, spouse, any number of unmarried kids below 25 years, and upto 4 parents/in-laws at Rs 650 which is the additional benefit. For two year scheme, individual scheme at Rs 400, family at Rs 700 and family plus at Rs 850.

“The Manipal Arogya card holder can avail discount of 50% on consultation fee with all specialist or super specialist doctors, 30% discount on diagnostics and laboratory investigations, 20% discount on radiology investigation, 12% on medicines purchased from the hospital pharmacy and 25% concession on in-patient bill excluding consumables and packages in general ward.”
