Mangaluru, Oct 25: Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president, Dinesh Gundu Rao, is scheduled to address party workers at Suratkal on Friday, October 25 at 5 pm. Party workers from Suratkal block Congress including Gurpur would be taking part in this meeting, said former Congress legislator, Mohiuddin Bava.

Addressing a press conference at his office at Kulur here on Thursday, the MLA said that the development works executed in the city (north) constituency by him and the city corporation during the last five years will ensure victory for the party in the city corporation election here.

"The city (north) constituency has 23 city corporation wards. The party will choose the best possible candidates. Suratkal - Bajpe road had been tendered for Rs 58 crore and the work would have been finished partly by now, but because of loss of will power on the part of the current MLA, the project has been neglected," he alleged.

City north block Congress president, K Sadashiva Shetty and Haris Bykampady were present at the press conference.
