Mumbai: Bantara Sangha Andheri Bandra committee celebrates Deepavali

Mumbai, Oct 22: Bantara Sangha, Andheri Bandra regional committee celebrated Deepavali at Sai Palace hotel auditorium, Andheri east on Sunday evening October 20.

Bantara Sangha Mumbai president Padmanabha S Payyade lit the lamp and inaugurated the programme. He set in motion tailoring and beautician training schemes of the regional committee.

Bunts Sangha Mumbai honorary chief secretary, CA Sanjiva Shetty, ladies wing president Ranjani Sudhaker Hegde, joint secretary Ratna P Shetty, education and social welfare committee president Ulthoor Mohandas Shetty, western zone convener Dr Prabhaker Shetty Bola, regional committee ladies wing president Vanita Y Nonda, youth wing president Abhishek Shetty who were on the dais gifted sarees, bedsheets, dress material and cash prizes among adopted children, differently-abled and their family members on behalf of the committee.



Matrabhoomi Co-operative Credit Society Limited president Rathnaker Shetty Mundkoor, Bantara Sangha temple committee president Ravindranath M Bhandary, regional committee cultural committee president Savita Shetty, sports committee president Sooraj Shetty, marriage committee president Krishna Shetty and other Bunt leaders were present.

Vice president, advocate R G Shetty welcomed the gathering. Mamata S Rai sang a prayer song and explained about beautician training. Regional committee social welfare committee president Prabhaker Shetty Nanayara Garadi and adoption committee president Sathish Shetty read out the list of beneficiaries. Babaprasad Arasa compered the programme. Honorary secretary Ravi R Shetty rendered the vote of thanks.
