Kundapur, Oct 5: A man who was walking by the roadside was hit by a three-wheeler opposite Yaksheshwari shrine in Navunda Maski near here on Thursday, October 3. The pedestrian, identified as Abdul Rehman, lost his life due to this accident.
Abdul was walking by the roadside when an auto ricksaw that was speeding towards Byndoor from the direction of Kundapur knocked him down. Abdul suffered serious injuries in the accident. He was immediately taken to a private hospital at Kundapur. The doctors who examined him there suggested taking him to Udupi as he was found to be in need of sophisticated treatment.
Abdul Rehman lost his life before reaching Udupi. On the basis of a complaint filed by Mustafa from Akalabail, Kirimanjeshwar, who was an eyewitness to this accident, a case was registered in Byndoor police station.
