Chikkamagaluru, Oct 2: "Former chief ministers (CM) of Karnataka Siddaramaiah and H D Kumaraswamy have ruined the financial status of Karnataka. The present CM Yediyurappa is finding it difficult to bring it back to level," said MP Shobha Karandlaje.
Speaking to the media persons, Shobha said, "Siddaramaiah and Kumaraswamy are responsible for the financial condition of the state exchequer to reach its nadir. It is difficult to manage the expenditure in such a situation. Even then, CM Yediyurappa is working for the farmers,"
Responding to query on flood relief funds, Shobha said, "The state government has submitted a report to the center with regards to the estimated losses due to the recent deluge in the state. The compensation amount will be released by the union government within 10 days. Union ministers Nirmala Sitharaman and Amit Shah have visited the state personally and have viewed the situation during the floods,"
"There is not internal rivalry in BJP. The government is working responsibly. Party is doing its work. When Yediyurappa took over the reigns as CM, the state was undergoing severe drought, which got converted into deluge in some days. Yediyurappa has not rested even a single day and has responded to the issues of the flood victims." Shobha said.
