Mumbai, Sep 30: Havyaka Welfare Trust, here celebrated Navaratri festival at Solitaire building, Ghatkopar west on Sunday September 29.
Durga Puja was performed by priest Gopala Bhat Gayatri. Dr G N Bhat and Shanta Bhat couple were in charge of the rituals.
Deserving students were presented certificates and scholarships in the afternoon. Members, Shashikala Hegde, Tanuja Hegde, Shanta Bhat and Poornima Akkadasa introduced the senior citizens who were felicitated.
Trust president Shivakumar Bhagavat, vice-president Sanjay Bhat, honorary secretary Narayana Akkadasa, Havyaka Sandesha monthly organ editor advocate Amitha S Bhagavat and several other elite were present. Shashikala Hegde compered the programme and rendered the vote of thanks. The programme concluded after the National Anthem.
