Bengaluru, Sep 28: Three young students suffered injuries and several others had a providential escape after a bus that was parked suddenly lunged ahead. The bus which surged ahead knocked the three kids down and injured them. It is learnt that the kids were students of Little Angels School, Banashankari here. The handbrake of the bus had not been applied by the driver, it was revealed later.
Two of the injured boys were seven-year-old while the other was an eight-year-old girl. The school staff admitted them into a nearby private hospital. After finding that the injury suffered by one of the students was serious, the student was shifted to Sagar Hospital at Tilak Nagar.

The incident happened in front of Little Angels School at 16th Main in Srinivas Nagar, Banashankari first stage. Driver of the bus, identified as Shivanna, had stopped the vehicle in front of the school without applying the handbrake, it is said. The bus moved ahead on the slope and hit the students who were walking in front.
