Mumbai, Sep 23: Karnataka Sporting Association here held its a meeting to elect office bearers for the next three years. All the ten members led by sports achiever Dr P V Shetty had unanimous win.

Dr P V Shetty and Ravi Anchan were elected president and vice president unopposed. Gaurav Payyade, Jaya A Shetty, Jayanth Kunder, Prasad M Shetty, Salvodore D’Souza, Harish Poojary, M P Shetty, H V Suvarna, Karunakar Shetty and Premnath P Kotian won by maximum votes.

Their opponents Sathish Uchil, Suresh Mendon, Shekar Bangera, Govinda Putran, Gurudath Uchil, Vasanth Uchil, Gokul Kanchan, Ramakrishna Shetty, Nagesh Naik, Raju Sriyan and Loknath Kanchan lost the elections.

Election officers A B Shetty and Abhay Hadap helped for smooth elections. Dr P V Shetty addressing the annual meeting congratulated the members who took part in the elections. He sought cooperation of all to take the association to further growth. Secretary Jaya A Shetty compered the programme and rendered the vote of thanks.
