Bengaluru: Coast, other areas, predicted to get normal rainfall

Bengaluru, Sep 18: During the 24-hour period which ended 8.30 am on Tuesday, September 17, Kampli in Ballari district received 9 cm rainfall which was the highest in the state.

During the above period, Ramanagara got six cm rainfall, Channapatna, Bengaluru city and Kanakapura got three cm while Gokarna and Honnavar got two cm each. Mangaluru, Karkala, Kolar, and many other places received one cm rainfall.

The meteorological department has predicted most parts of the state's coast and interior Karnataka to get normal rainfall. This prediction is valid until Thursday morning.
