Kaup, Sep 16: Kaup circle inspector, Mahesh Prasad, on Sunday, September 15, flagged off the Midland states tour on bike undertaken by the team led by Sachin Shetty Kaup, with the aim of learning the culture, tradition, food habits and ethics followed in different states of the country and making a comprehensive documentary on the same. In addition, the team will also spread awareness on traffic rules and regulations among the public.
The photographer from Kaup, Sachin Shetty, who is travelling across the country on his bike since the past three years, is joined this time for the tour of Midland states by Dinesh Kotian Hejamadi, owner of Padubidri Service station and photographer Ravi Acharya Moodbidri. They will shoot the video of their tour and then upload the same on YouTube under Shutterbox Films, their own channel.
This tour is undertaken on 411 CC capacity Royal Enfield Himalyan bikes. The tour will cover a distance of 10,000 kilometers in 45 days. The estimated cost of this tour is Rs three lac. This tour that starts from Kaup, will go through Udupi, Pune, Mumbai, Vadodara, Udaipur, Jaipur, Kurukshethra, Jibi, Chitkul, Thabo, Madh, Khaza, Chandratal, Manali, Chandigarh, Agra, Indore, Aurangabad, Sholapur, Hampi, Bengaluru, Madikeri, Mangaluru and will end in Kaup itself.
Sachin Shetty had undertaken a tour in 2017 with the slogan 'Lights Camera Ladakh' from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, covering a distance of 13,000 kilometers in 32 days. In 2018, Sachin had gone on a tour with the slogan 'Go Himalayas' with his friend Abhishek Shetty from India to Bhutan for 40 days covering a distance of 13,560 kilometers.
Sachin Shetty says, "I have decided to achieve something in life and also create awareness among people about our culture. With this intention, I am undertaking these tours. We will make a documentary on the culture, food habits and traditions of various state of our country. In addition, we will also spread awareness on the traffic rules."
