Puttur, Sep 16: The students of Post Graduate studies in Economics of St Philomena College here, recorded one hundred percent result in the semester examinations conducted by Mangalore University in May/June 2019.
In the fourth semester, nineteen students appeared for the examination, out of which sixteen students passed in distinction and three passed first class. In the second semester, thirteen students appeared for the examination, out of which six secured distinction and seven passed first class.
In the fourth semester examinations, Praseeda C obtained top position with seventy eight percent and B T Sowmya obtained second place with seventy six percent marks. In the second semester examination, Nafisathul Misriya is the topper with seventy eight percent and Shwetha obtained second place with seventy seven percent marks.
The principal Prof Leo Noronha, chairperson of PG Centre Fr Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro, coordinator Prof Dinakara Rao and faculty members of the department complimented the students for their tremendous achievement.
