Kundapur: Man tried for constructing building by using forged documents

Kundapur, Jul 16: A case stands registered against a person who reportedly constructed a building illegally by creating fake documents by forging the signature of the chief officer of the municipality here and also by creating a fake seal.

The municipal officials, based on a complaint filed by Anand Kharvi, visited the spot and verified the contentious building. It is said that the said building, standing on survey No. 302/503 of Casba village here, is illegal.

The accused, Dasa Kharvi, resident of Kharvikeri here, has been accused of creating a fake seal of the municipal chief officer and creating building licence with the forged signature of the official and constructing the said building illegally based on forged building licence. Based on a complaint made by the municipal chief officer, a case has been registered in the town police station here against Dasa Kharvi.
