Bengaluru: Coastal districts register good rainfall

Bengaluru, Sep 16: During the 24-hour period ended 8.30 am on Sunday, September 15, Karkala received nine cm rainfall. Other parts of the state like Malnad and coastal areas recorded good rainfall during this period.

Moodbidri received five cm rainfall, Siddapur, Puttur, Kundapur and Kalaburagi got four cm each, Sullia Bhatkal and Byndoor got three cm rainfall while Kollur and Dharmasthala received two cm.

The meteorological department has predicted rainfall in several places on the coast, as well as some places in the south and northern interior Karnataka coupled with thunder and lightning.
