Mangaluru: Some areas in district receive rainfall

Mangaluru, Sep 11: A number of areas in Dakshina Kannada district received rain on Tuesday. The city experienced sunny weather with clouds covering the sky in between, and it received good rain at night. At the same time, there have been reports of rainfall in Puttur, Uppinangady, Beltangady, Subrahmanya and other areas.

Udupi district in comparison, got less rainfall on Tuesday. Although the weather was cloudy in the morning, it did not rain till afternoon. In the afternoon, some areas got light rains.

The meteorological department has predicted possibility of the district to get good rainfall during the next two days.
