He tweeted : The Sports Minister @BabuAjgaonkar holding me responsible for postponement of National Games is contempt of Goa Legislative Assembly. I have put all records straight. I hope @goacm @DrPramodPSawant wl advise ministers to refrain from making baseless statements@INCGoa @girishgoa.
Leader of opposition stated that during the discussion on LAQ on National Games, I had clearly put the records straight that it was due to delay in organisation of previous editions of National Games by other states, Goa could not host the Games in 2011.
“It is unfortunate that Ministers don’t study the subject matters properly and try to blame others for their failures to keep up with their own commitments,” he added.
