Mangaluru, Sep 3: Music composer and singer Jerald Oswald D’Souza popularly known as Jerry Bajjodi passed away on Tuesday, September 3. He was 51.
He collapsed during a stage show while singing a song due to cardiac arrest. And later he passed away while being taken to hospital.
As per details available, Jerry was singing in a Ganeshotsava orchestra programme at Bejai in city on Tuesday evening. He collapsed in between the song. It was due to cardiac arrest and he could not be saved.
Jerry Bajjodi had presented four musical nites independently till date in Mangaluru and Mumbai. He had also presented a musical nite with co-singer and composer Jerry Bondel in March this year which was his last.
Jerry Bajjodi has composed more than 60 songs and has one album to his credit titled ‘Nach Bhangara’.
His most famous songs include Avoipona, Roopa, Mummy, Rosmary etc.
