Bengaluru: Car rams into tipper - Four people including three from one family perish

Bengaluru, Aug 27: Four people including three members of a family died on the spot in a horrible collision between a car and tipper in Sarjapur police station limits, Bengaluru.

The deceased were Uttar Pradesh based Anjani Yadav(31), Neha Anjani Yadav(28) their son Dhrava Yadav(2) and friend Shubhra Santhosh(27).

The family of Anjani Yadav who was a software engineer was staying in DS Marks complex near Bilapur village on Sarjapur road. The family had gone out for dinner with their friend in Honda city car. It is said that Anjani Yadav was driving the car.

When they were returning home after dinner, the car lost control near Confident apartment on Sarjapur road, Anekal taluk, hitting the road divider and collided against the tipper approaching on the opposite side of the road. Four people died on the spot.

Excessive speed of the car is said to have caused the accident. Santhosh(29) and Sanjeev Santhosh(2) who are injured in the incident are undergoing treatment in the local hospital.

Sarjapur police station police sub inspector Manjunath Reddy rushed to the spot after getting the information. Police have registered a case in Sarjapur police station and taken further action.
