Karkala: Blood helpline Karnataka, Hidayuthul Islam Trust hold blood donation camp

Karkala, Aug 26: Hidayuthul Islam Trust ® Banglegudde, Karkala and Blood helpline Karnataka ® jointly held a blood donation camp in coordination with Yenepoya hospital Deralakatte on Sunday, August 25, at the campus of Bangegudde Salman Juma Masjid.

Speaking on the occasion, principal of Twaiba Garden Banglegudde, who inaugurated the programme said, “Your service should not be limited to propaganda only. It should serve our country, society, community, district and our environment. In addition, the service you give should benefit someone else also.”


90 people donated their blood in this camp. The doctors and support staff of Yenepoya hospital Deralakatte helped in collecting blood from the donors.

Former president of standing committee of Karkala town municipality Mohammed Sharif compered the event and also rendered the vote of thanks.
