Bantwal: ICYM Madanthyar takes up flood relief work at Kukkav Bridge

Bantwal, Aug 17: On the occasion of Independence Day, Indian Catholic Youth Movement Madanthyar unit organised a day's flood relief work on August 15 at flood affected areas near Kukkavu bridge, Belthangady taluk.

ICYM Madanthyar collected essentials like rice, clothes, biscuits, blankets etc from the parishoners and handed them over to the various 'Ganji' centres in flood affected areas.

In the afternoon session, members of ICYM Madanthyar unit had Shramadhan to clean the flood affected areas. All the youth participated and worked actively in this mission.



The director of ICYM Madanthyar, Fr Basil Vas and assistant director Fr Stany Pinto guided the entire operation. Dn Ronald Serrao and Sr Silvin were present with the youth. Around 45 youths were present and worked wholeheartedly toward this mission.
