Mangaluru, Aug 16: On the occasion of Assumption of Mary and 73rd Independence Day, ICYM Omzoor unit organized an ashram visit 'Journey of Love' on August 15 to De Mercede Orphanage, Panir.
The members conducted games and entertainment programmes for the orphans. As gratitude, to the members of ICYM, all the orphanage children performed a dance. At the end of the entertainment programme ICYM members danced a baila along with the orphans.
Contributions to the sshram were in the form of grocery items, stationary and clothes which valued at Rs 10,000 (approx). The orphans were offered snacks and soft drinks.
In memory of ICYM Omzoor unit fruit saplings were planted in the premises of the orphanage.
The programme concluded by spreading the 'Journey of Love' along with the 120 children and 27 ICYM members.
