Mangaluru, Aug 16: Soujanya, daughter of Jayant and Kumuda couple, resident of Laila in the taluk of Beltangady of Dakshina Kannada district has made a sensational achievement by clearing the Chartered Accountant (CA) examination.

Soujanya had completed her PU education on merit after completing her primary and secondary education from Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara primary and high schools. Lecturers of Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara PU College Savita, Prabhavati, Baby and Mahesh Shetty are ones who encouraged Soujanya to study CA.

Though there is no conducive environment for the CA studies in the taluk of Beltangady, Soujanya studied for the CA-CPT entrance exam from home itself and cleared the same in first attempt itself. After her second PU, Soujanya worked as CA-Article Audit Trainee with CA B Ramachandra Kamath and CA Devappa Shenoy in Mangaluru for two years. Along with two years of training, Soujanya also got her B Com degree as the second phase of her studies from CA-IPCC and AO University.

Soujanya got one year training with CA Subhash, global finance director of global accounting section of Dell International Services company at Bengaluru. Later she got trained in one of the top four companies also.
