Udupi: Two end lives in separate incidents in district

Udupi, Aug 15: Murthy (28), resident of Janata Colony in Kirimanjeshwar village in Byndoor taluk of the district, who was suffering from certain mental disorders, hanged himself on Tuesday August 13 night, his brother, Babu, said in a complaint filed in the police station.

Byndoor police are investigating.

In the other incident which happened at Yadady - Mathyady village within Kota police station limits, Kaveri (56) from the village committed suicide on Tuesday August 13.

Reports said that Kaveri was suffering from high blood pressure and diabetes. She also had raised loans from cooperative societies which she was unable to clear. In a complaint filed in Kota police station, it is said that Kaveri ended her life as she was worried at not being able to clear her loans.
