Mangaluru: Nirmaan Builders holds non-curricular competitions for children

Mangaluru, Aug 14: Popular builders in the city, Nirmaan Builders held non-curricular competitions for school children as part of 73rd Independence Day celebrations at Bharath mall recently. More than 600 children registered their names ignoring the rain. The 400 children who registered early were selected for competitions.

The following were the winners:

Drawing: Driti S - first prize; Sinchan Kotian - second prize, Sheeyan - third prize

Colouring: Vaibhavi Alake - first prize, Karthik S - second prize, Bhargavi S Acharya - third prize

Fancy dress junior division: Rutva H P - first prize, Snithik N - second prize and Aishami B M - third prize

Fancy dress senior division: Niharika B M first - prize, Manasvi Kanchan second - prize and Chivnish Kothari - third prize



All the children who took part in the competitions were presented gift vouchers worth Rs 1 lac each by the builders which can be used while buying their house or commercial building.

Nirmaan Homes managing partner Krishnaraj Salian said that the programme is held in memory of soldiers and freedom fighters. He congratulated parents of children who encouraged children to take part in large numbers despite rain and floods.

Paper seed fame, Nithin Vas prepared the country flag on paper using a mix of flower and seeds and distributed them free of charge among children.

Mudra Developers proprietor, K Vasudev Bhat was the chief guest. Nirman Builders partner, Krishnaraj Mayya, Subhash Nayak were present. Mangaluru dream catchers, event manager compered the programme.

Krishnaraj Salian explained about the commercial complex of the builders which will be coming up soon near Mangaluru City Corporation office. The complex is unique and suitable for opening corporate offices. The complex will have five floors and 27 offices. It will have a visitor car parking, reception counter, well equipped conference hall, pantry, lift, wifi, intercom facilities, CC TV camera, fire fighting system, solar lighting and other facilities.
