Karkala: Rotary club, primary health center Belman hold 'Health Information Week'

Karkala, Aug 14: Dr Sathish Rao, medical officer of primary health center, Belman gave information on Dengue fever as the first programme of the 'Health Information Week' event that is being held under the joint auspices of Rotary Club of Belman and Primary Health Center Belman.

2,000 brochures containing information on Dengue fever and the precautions to be taken to avoid the same were released on the occasion. These brochures will be distributed door to door in the Belman village through the staff of primary health center and Anganwadi.

Rtn Sajesh Kumar welcomed the gathering and also presided over the function. Rtn Prabhakar Shetty, director of community service rendered the vote of thanks. Introductory speech was given by Rtn Raneesh R Shetty, immediate past president. The programme was compered by Rtn Vignesh Shenoy. 50 members of local community and all members of Rotary club participated in the programme.
