Kundapur: Muslims display banner against ‘Mob Lynching’ during Eid Namaaz

Kundapur, Aug 12: The Muslims of Gangolli near here celebrated Eid-Al-Adha, a feast of sacrifice with gaiety and fervor.

Eid Kutbah and Namaaz were conducted under the leadership of Maulana Muzammil Nadvi at central Juma Masjid, Maulana Abdul Vahab Sahab Nadvi at Mohiudding Juma Masjid, Maulana Abdul Matin Siddiqui at Shahi Juma Masjid and Maulana Taufeek Umari at Salafi Masjid.

Muslim brothers exchanged greetings by embracing one another after the prayers. Special prayers were also for the departed souls at the cemetery.

At the same time, a banner against mob lynching was displayed by the Muslims to express their anger. Members of Popular Front of India, Gangolli sought donations from the crowd for the flood-affected people.

SP Nisha James visited Gangolli and oversaw the security arrangements.
