Daniel Monterio gets awarded for his Waterfowls stamps

Udupi, Aug 10: Daniel Monteiro, a well-known philanthropist of Brahmavar received another award for his collection of Waterfowls stamps. He was awarded the silver medal at 36th Asian International Stamp Exhibition SINGPEX -2019 held from July 31 to August 4 at Singapore.

Daniel has been also awarded several other international and national awards. He is the recipient of many medals at various World Philatelic Exhibitions Competitions held at Hong Kong, China, Korea, South Africa, Thailand, New Delhi, Indonesia, Austria, Belgium and Singapore. Daniel Monterio is currently working as an office staff in SMS College Brahmavar.



He also has a Guinness World Record, two Limca Book of Record and three India Book of Records and unique world record to his credit. Daniel has been also awarded district Rajyotsava award and felicitated with several state and national level honours.

He is a member of Dakshina Kannada Philatelists and Numismatics Association and Karnataka Philatelic Society, Bengaluru. He is also creating awareness about environment by organizing exhibitions in various institutions and organizations.
