Bantwal: ICYM Madanthyar unit organises 'Pavsa Khel-2019'

Bantwal, Aug 9: ICYM Madanthyar unit recently organised inter-ward water games event 'Pavsa Khel' for the parishioners of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Madanthyar at Guardian Angels School Ground Madanthyar.

The programme commenced with a prayer service. Parish priest of the church and director of ICYM Madanthyar, Fr Basil Vas was president of the programme. Assistant parish priest Fr Stany Pinto, Br Ronald Serrao, parish pastoral council vice-president Ronald Sequera, secretary Leo Rodrigues, Sr Treeza Crastha, Fr Stuvert Fernandes, ICYM Mangaluru diocese treasurer Vivian Fernandes, ICYM Madanthyar unit president Swebert D'Souza, secretary Ashwini Moras were present on the dais. Swebert D'Souza welcomed the guests and the gathering.

The event commenced with an attractive march past by 22 wards of the church. Oath taking ceremony was conducted by Joswin Monis- Sports secretary of ICYM unit Madanthyar.



Fr Stany Pinto was convenor of the water games event. Under the leadership of ICYM unit, 22 wards of Sacred Heart parish actively participated in the competitions.

Ashwini Moras, secretary, ICYM Madanthyar unit rendered the vote of thanks.

Tyson D'Cunha and Ashwin Pinto hosted the programme.
